Patch 26.8 focuses on balance adjustments ahead of the end of Ranked Season 1. Season 1 ends on April 28, with Season 2 beginning alongside Patch 26.9 on April 29.
Lucian, Hwei, and Yuumi received buffs improving their mobility and sustained power, while Mel and Dr. Mundo were nerfed to curb their high performance.

In this patch, Lucian receives significant E cooldown and mana cost reductions, greatly improving his mobility. Earlier and more frequent E usage enables both aggressive trades and safer escapes.
Conversely, Mel's Q explosion damage and W movement speed duration nerfs weaken her laning pressure. Dr. Mundo also faces stat reductions due to his high performance in top lane.
